A Woman just Detonated a Bomb on Eid Prayer Ground in Damaturu




There are reports that a twin explosion just rocked Damaturu, at the Eid prayer ground in Damaturu, Yobe state capital. This is happening just hours after a bomb blast at the Gombe main market on Thursday evening that left no fewer than 48 people dead. Eyewitnesses say people were killed.
The Eid ground hit by the blast is located at an area called phase-one along Maiduguri Road.

A resident, Abdul Malik, told PREMIUM TIMES that:

“It happened at about 8am. Now we are being asked to return back home. Those that had gotten close to the Eid ground said many people were affected”.
