                       A High Court in Malaysia today sentenced a Nigerian national to the gallows after he was found guilty of trafficking 915.6 grammes of methamphetamine three years ago. Judge Datuk Wan Afrah Wan Ibrahim made the decision after she was satisfied that the prosecution has proven the case against the accused, Ekene Collins Isaac, 37, beyond reasonable doubt.

Former governor of old Anambra State, Jim Nwobodo has denied media reports that he collected any money from the embattled former National Security Adviser, Dasuki Sambo. In an interview with Premium Times , Nwobodo said the only money he collected was N100 million from his party PDP for campaign logistics. "I have never met Sambo Dasuki. I know Yuguda as former minister, that is all. According to the General Manager, Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA, Adebola Shabi, the agency had received persistent complaints from residents and neighbours of the shut facilities.He also said, some of the sealed worship centres were converted from residential apartments to places of worship, constituting nuisance to other residents.
