Dolan claims he turned over e-mails to DA over priest’s ‘sex romps’

Timothy Cardinal Dolan said Saturday that he not only saw the detailed emails alleging the kinky and illegal behaviors of sex-slave priest Rev. Peter Miqueli, he handed them over to the district attorney.

“You bet I saw it. You bet I saw it,” Dolan said, adding that his office asked the girlfriend of Miqueli’s S&M “master” to come in and show the pictures, documents and emails she described in her graphic messages.

When Tatyana Gudin didn’t show, Dolan said he turned over what information he had to the DA. “We’ve been cooperating for a long time,” Dolan said.

A lawsuit filed by parishioners of St. Frances de Chantal parish in the Bronx accuse the pastor of skimming millions from the collection plates to pay for his twisted, drug-fueled romps with his bodybuilder lover, Keith Crist.

Gudin told The Post that she talked to the investigation firm hired by the Archdiocese shortly after she received a reply email from a church attorney in August. They had set up a meeting to talk a few days from then, but the lawyer refused to allow one of the parishioner plaintiffs, Jack Lynch, to attend. Gudin canceled the meeting.

“Basically he wanted me to turn over the smut so they could continue the coverup,” she said.

She is now represented by Michael Dowd, an attorney who’s been litigating against the church for 20 years.

Dolan said he is upset that the allegations against the priest were outed before the archidiocese had fully investigated him.

“What distresses me, I think, are the innuendo that the archdiocese is taking this with anything less than the gravity it deserves,” New York’s Catholic leader said. “We’ve been cooperating with these people. We’ve had a number of audits. And we’re prepared to arrive at a resolution within the first of the year.

“If these allegations are true, they’re awful, they’re mean, they’re vicious,” Dolan added without elaborating.

Dolan, speaking at a Catholic Charities event Saturday, said he has his “best” looking into the charges but so far they “haven’t found any fire.”

Audits of the parish’s finances have turned up “some sloppiness,” but so far, “I found no evidence at all of embezzlement.”

Dolan praised the members of the Throggs Neck parish for speaking up about Miqueli, who in addition to being an alleged “toilet slave,” is accused of disappearing for days to a love nest, with dungeon, on the Jersey Shore he purchased with parish funds.

“I want to thank people who spoke up in a very thoughtful way, and assure them that we’re taking this very seriously,” Dolan said. “All we can do is see if truth and justice prevails.”

Dolan said Miqueli has been “cooperating in the investigation”for months.

“He’s as eager as anybody to see the truth come out,” the cardinal said. “If the truth comes out and it hurts him, his priesthood is obviously over. But I’m hoping that’s not the case.”
