FBI's Most Wanted Woman Arrested
A WANTED woman accused of plotting the murder of a love rival has been arrested in Mexico.
Brenda Delgado, 33, is alleged to have convinced an accomplice to kill dentist Kendra Hatcher, who was dating her ex-boyfriend.
The pair were set to go on holiday together before Delgado learned of this, and orchestrated the killing in Dallas, Texas.
Delgado was interviewed by police after Hatcher, 35, was shot in the head but released due to a lack of evidence, before she fled across the border.
Thomas Class Sr, of the FBI's Dallas division said: "Although she didn't pull the trigger herself, she is still responsible for the murder."
The FBI placed her on their most wanted list this week and issued an international warrant for her arrest.
She is only the ninth woman since 1950 to feature.
She was captured in the Mexican city of Torreon and did not put up resistance.
At present she is being held in a Mexican jail and US officials are planning to extradite her.
Accused gunman Kristopher Love and alleged getaway driver Crystal Cortes have already been arrested over the murder.
