Leicester City win 2015/2016 Premier League title
Leicester City has won the Premier League title with two games left, following Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men, who needed all three points, to take the fight for the title into another match day, raced into a two-goal lead.
Harry Kane beat the offside trap to open the scoring, before Son doubled their advantage as half time approached.
In the second half, Gary Cahill began the comeback with a fine volley inside the area. Eden Hazard then curled in a glorious effort, to ensure Spurs can’t catch stop Leicester anymore.
This is Leicester City’s first ever league title in their 103-year history. This is even as they started the 2015/2016 season as favourites for relegation.
